Tire comes off | coverage?

I was driving down the road and my tire came off.
Would this be covered under a fully cover car, I don't know why it came off. the tires were new.
Some one thought the baring froze up.

Well, most auto policies doe not cover mechanical break down damages (those would most likely be covered under a warranty and not an insurance policy).
They will probably have to investigate to determined if this was an accident, or it was caused by negligence, in which case, the policy would cover it (assuming you have the proper coverages).
If it was a failure of the vehicle (mechanical break down), they could deny the claim.
