Someone hit my car but car is not in my name yet

I purchased a vehicle and didn't finish the process of transferring the title into my name before someone totaled it while it was parked on the street.

Can I still make an insurance claim?

You can make a claim. There will be a coverage investigation and they will have to determine if you have an insurable interest that is covered.

An investigation will have to be done, however, if you can show that you had the proper coverage and that this vehicle was in fact purchased by you, and it has not been too long, then there is a possibility coverage.
