Should I Correct Police Report or leave alone since they accepted liablity?
by Nicki
I just got the police report from an accident where I was rear ended a week ago.
The report says I was going 20 mph and she was going 30 however I was actually stopped 0 mph.
I had at least 3 cars in front of me stopped for a light.
Everything else seems correct and her insurance has already accepted liablity at 100% - does this matter?
I had to start getting treatment for my neck and I am worried that the speed might affect how they view the whiplash? Thanks!
Answer:
Well, you did not get a ticket based on the officer error or police report and they are accepting liability, there is no need to correct it.
They are paying for your damages. Of course, you want to talk to a local attorney.
Good luck
