Senior citizens casing damages
by Chance
(Ohio)
An elderly person in Ohio has crashed into a business and done considerable property damage and this person does not have auto insurance.....who is liable for the damages caused by this elderly person?
Answer
Most likely the senior citizen unless there was some kind of custodian or someone that had to keep this person from driving.
However, if this person has a driver license (active) then they are allowed to be on the road just like anyone else.
Talk to a lawyer, maybe the vehicle owner could have some liability (if the driver and owner are different, of course).
Good Luck
