Restricted Policy | Company out side what they are supposed to do

I was involved in a rear end accident involving a auto driven by the husband of a driver who has a restricted policy.

We are being told that he was not covered on the policy and that we need to use my insurance policy, it seem to me that is a way out for the insurance company?

Answer:

Hello there,

Way out? We are not following your question. This was out side what the company should of done?

If this is the case then, they are not stepping out of bounds. If there is no coverage, then they have to tell you to seek your own coverage. Your own insurance company will guide you and help you with this process.

Good Luck
