Neighbor pulling out of his driveway and has an accident says my bush to blame

Can I be held liable for my neighbor pulling out of his driveway into the path of an oncoming car if he says he couldn't see clearly because of a bush in my yard?

Most likely not. Unless your bush has been the subject of other accidents and you were asked to remove it in the past.

The driver has responsibility to exit only when it is safe. This applies at any time, even if it is completely dark, foggy, or there is no visibility.
