Insurance fraud? But it was their fault?
I called and put full coverage insurance on my motorcycle.
About a week later I had a wreck and realized they only had added liability insurance on my motorcycle when I plainly asked for full coverage insurance. So I called and told them to put full coverage on it but didn't mention my wreck because I was afraid they would say that was insurance fraud? What do I do now?
Answer to Insurance fraud? But it was their fault?
Well, that is problematic. You knew there was no coverage when you realized that you had to call to ensure the coverage was placed on your policy. At point, you should have asked for a claim and ask for a coverage investigation.
Crashing a bike, and then calling to put coverage to later claim the accident happened after the coverage was in place could be considered fraud.
Talk a local attorney before you file a claim.
Good Luck
