If you reinstate your auto insurance and get into an accident will the insurance cover the accident?

I called and had my insurance restated since my car was broken down for awhile and i had it cancelled til I fixed the car. I got into a small accident and the other car needs to be painted for a few scratches will the insurance cover the other car.

Well, it depends if you can show that you reinstated the policy before the accident. A coverage investigation will have to be done to determine that.

If however you cannot show that (that your reinstated the policy before the accident) or you don't have collision or comprehensive coverage, there will not be payments to repair your car.
