Hit mailbox injured my shoulder

If I hit a mailbox that has been hit many times before and injured my shoulder what do I do?

Who is liable me or the private property owner?

Answer:

Most likely you at 100%. A mail box is there to be seen, not sure why you hit it.

You want to talk to your insurance company to see if there is liability on the homeowner, but that is unlikely.
