Drunk driver hit me!

Hi I got hit by drunk driver on Friday night behind he drove off I chased him till police joint me then he stop and was arrested.

What I want to no is what do I do?

Do I call his insurance or mine?

I only have third party cover!! Or do I claim on his insurance?

Will his insurance pay for damage on my car? Or will they not cover him for been drunk please help???

Hello there. Well, you need to get both insurance companies on board. Will they pay, who knows:

1. He may not have coverage – he may be driving uninsured.
2. If he has coverage, the alcohol situation may exclude coverage.

Some policies do bar coverage for alcohol and some states allow for that. Contact a local attorney
