Dealer ended up crashing my car with scratch, dents.

Do the dealer need to submit a report so that it show up in Carfax report. The dealer did not submit any report. Is that legal? Please reply.

Hello Abe,

There is no requirement to submit anything to Carfax. They are a private company. There is nothing illegal about it.

Dealers try to report and do the best they can but sometime they don't.
