Damages to wife's car in vehicle accident

My wife and I have just separated, I moved out last Saturday. last night I called in to arrange to see the daughter. An argument evolved and I stormed out. While walking down the drive I picked a stone up. I threw it at the wife’s car smashing the windscreen in the process. Does my wife have a claim against me?

Well yeah, of course she does. You broke her window.

Will an insurance company cover this? Probably not. This is an intentional act, there is likely no coverage for that.
