Comprehensive Insurance | is this covered?

I went shopping today and my car was parked in the parking lot when I came out from shopping I had a big scratch on my drivers side door and back pumper.

It was not there when I went into shop so I was hit while shopping and no info was left on who hit me.

Is that covered under comprehensive insurance if I make a claim?

Mostly likely this is a collisions. You stated the hit you. Two objects colliding is a collision (a door opening is an object).
