Can I claim for suffering? car hit my parked car and bounced off ,then hit gas station I was in?
by James
Car was entering parking lot. Driver did not slow down. Car sped up hitting my parked car. Then bounced off and struck store front. Car came thru front of building missing me by 2-3 ft.
I had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by the car and flying glass and chairs.
Answer to Can I claim for suffering? car hit my parked car and bounced off ,then hit gas station I was in? :
Hello James,
Did the car hit you? Did the car touch you? This could be the difference here. Physical contact is often necessary. If not, you will have to show actual injury, which could be shown if you have experts showing that you were injury (physical or mental injury).
Good Luck,
