A lady claims I knocked her bumper loose yet I have no awareness of this and no scratch on my car

Whilst driving home a neighbour was driving towards me so I pulled right over and went on my way. She now claims I knocked her bumper loose.

We checked my car together for evidence of this and there was none and I would have stopped had I felt anything. She wants to claim off my insurance. What should I do?

Well, It is not unusual to have no damage to one vehicle but damage to the other. It’s not common, but it does happen.

If you are being told that you are liable, then you must talk to your insurance company and have them defend the claim.
